What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from
your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
We collect personal information when you fill some of our contact forms such us: You name, email, phone number, address, license number, and course(s) you have taken. In addition, we also keep this information to help recommend courses or products you may be interested in.
Payments:
We use a third party credit and debit card processing platforms for processing all monetary transactions.
Cookies and IP
Internet Protocol (IP) address. We may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer the Site.
Cookies: If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Security Logs
The IP address of visitors, user ID of logged in users, and username of login attempts are conditionally logged to check for malicious activity and to protect the Site from specific kinds of attacks. Examples of conditions when logging occurs include login attempts, log out requests, requests for suspicious URLs, changes to site content, and password updates. This information is retained for 60 days.

You acknowledge and agree that the information you provide us will be transferred to this platforms for processing in accordance with their privacy policy and Terms. If you do not want to receive this information, you can opt out by following the “unsubscribe” information that appears at the bottom of the emails.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
Security logs are retained for 60 days.
For users that register on our website tcm-project.com or the spanish version www.proyectomtc.com, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
To keep your data accurate and up-to-date, you are responsible to provide accurate, current and complete information during the registration process and keep your “OII” Account information updated at all times.
When you register an account with us, we will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as long as necessary in order to provide our services to you and to comply with our legal, regulatory, tax, accounting obligations. Because we care about the safety and privacy of children online, we comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA).
COPPA and its accompanying regulations protect the privacy of children using the internet. We do not knowingly contact or collect information from persons under the age of 18. The website is not intended to solicit information of any kind from persons under the age of 18.
